Take The Shot Films present "A Bad Day to Propose" - an action sci-fi short set in the 1980s.

Shot in association with Ramaz Studios, with immense support from London Audio Visual, London Film Academy, Teleport Studios and Delamar Academy.

Filmed on half a roll of 8mm and half a roll of 16mm motion picture film, with all effects done in camera and no post production VFX of any kind.

This film was shot chronologically and achieved on the first take of every set up! With the genesis of the idea being our winning 8mm entry into the Straight 8 2021 festival, this challenge was conquered thanks to Virtual Production technology and Unreal Engine, lots of hard work and a really passionate bunch of people!
